Position Number: LFEMS04 Pay Rate: 62000 to 62000 (Salary) Closing Date: Saturday, September 30, 2023 The Lord Fairfax EMS Council is seeking qualified applicants for the position of EMS Systems Coordinator located at the office in Winchester, VA. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring regional programs, plans, and agreements in support of the regional EMS system. Duties include but are not limited to maintenance and revision of all regional EMS plans under the direction of the appropriate committee, developing quality assurance and improvement plans as requested by the committees and/or the Board of Directors, assisting with revisions and maintenance of regional guidelines and protocols, assisting with state reports and applications, acting as a liaison with various committees of the Council’s Board of Directors, and attending various meetings within the region, and occasionally within the state. Some in-person meetings may be early morning or in the evening hours. Position does include some flexibility to work from home no more than 2 days/week. The successful candidate shall possess a combination of education and experience related to emergency medical services, planning or coordination, and/or non-profit. An associate’s degree is preferred. A minimum of EMT-Intermediate certification or higher, in good standing with the Virginia Office of EMS. The Lord Fairfax EMS Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides coordination, training, and support activities for the regional EMS system that includes all localities within planning district 7. The Council acts as a liaison between local stakeholders and the Virginia Office of EMS.
