Position Number: Pay Rate: 44086 to 49377 (Salary) Closing Date: Friday, October 01, 2010 Prince William County, Virginia is a large and diverse county located 35 miles SW of Washington, DC. We are a growing organization with more than 450 career Firefighters/EMT’s or Medics. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package along with tremendous promotional and learning opportunities. We give hiring preference to candidates with VA or NREMT-I/99 or NREMT-P. Starting salary with certification is $49,377 plus hourly supplement pay and annual retention supplement. We also hire individuals with no previous experience; starting salary is $44,086 with annual retention supplement. If selected, candidates are fully trained in Firefighting and Emergency Medical Technician at our 22-week Training Academy with full pay and benefits.
